The area finally saw its first snow and also got serval days of rain in the last two weeks. The water levels are up and slightly colored. Nymphing continues to be very productive with the occasional BWO and midge hatches bring the fish off the bottom. Small size 18 and 20 midge larva have been the most productive patterns on both freestone and spring creeks. Small mouth fishing is slow, but fish tend to be congregated on shelves with access to deep water. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or share how your fishing is going.
